French Vanilla Ice cream                                                                      Ingredients 1) 5 large egg yolks. 2) 3   cups of heavy cream. 3) 1   cup  of whole milk. 4) 3 /4 cup of sugar. 5) 1  vanilla bean ( you can substitute with a tablespoon of pure vanilla extract) 6) 1 /4 teaspoon of Kosher salt. Directions You will need an ice cream maker and a thermometer. 1) Whisk the cream, milk, sugar, salt, together in a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat.  2) Spilt the vanilla bean and scrape the seeds into the mixture, add the pod as well. 3) Remove  from heat and let stand. 4)  Beat the egg yolks in a bowl for 2 minutes until airy. 5)  Temper the eggs by slowly adding a cup of of the hot mixture in the beaten yolks. 6) Add  egg mixture into the warm cream mixture. 7)Put  back on medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.  back on medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. 8) Do  this until mixture t
